December 2002
Submitted article on 14-Year Cycle to magazines with failure.
January 2003
Submitted again to magazine. Again no response.
March 2003 Embarked
on the book project with the intended book title 14 Years Cycle
October 2003
Inspiration stop. The book is done.
October 2003 Retitled
the book to "The Joseph Cycle" after researching on
Joseph's 7 Good Years and 7 Lean Years prophecy.
December 14th 2003
First print 2,000 copies.
January 4th 2004
Straits Times Review: The Savvy Investor by ST writer Leong Chan Teik and
Book Review by Christopher Cheong, VP SIAS.
January 2004 Book was
Best Seller at Times The Book.
February 2004 Sold
out! Second reprint. Meet the Author event organised by Times.
March 2004 TJC was still
the Best Seller at Times The Bookshop and Kinokuniya.
April 2004 Sold out!
Third reprint. Appointed Horizon Books as local (limited) and
regional distributor.
May 2004 Book was
catalogued in National Union Catalog and Library of Congress. Book
began distribution in Malaysia.

The
Author
An old boy of
Cantonment Pri, Tiong Bahru Sec School and Victoria School (1970 - 1971). Won Gold Color for
Swimming.
Graduated from the
then University of Singapore in 1977 with a BBA Degree.. Was the Swimming Captain.
In 1979 he joined the
Bullion Trading Market as a pioneer broker and crafted his interest
in charting.
1985 Joined Union
Bank of Switzerland as a full time chartist. The first bank in
Singapore to employ a TA specialist.
1990 Promoted to Head
of Technical Analysis supporting the Asian Zone Treasuries and
Switzerland.
1998 Left UBS after
bank merger with SBC. Embarked on designing and developing proprietary TA
software.
2001 Started an
internet website called EChartbook.com. Ho ho ho 911 occurred at TJC
bottom!
2003 Wrote the hot
book "The Joseph Cycle - Will the STI rise to 4,300 by
2008?" on the 25th year of my professional career. This is the second financial book written by a
Singaporean. The first was Value Investing by Sebastian Chong.
2003 Conducted TA training seminars for
banks and corporates.
2004 Straits Times
Review and FM Radio 93.8 interview. Run Lectures and Mentorship

Planning to published
two other books written years ago. Planning to publish my 3 Bar
Pattern Analysis Theory.
